Initial Introduction of Men Suits Clothing
The idea of designing Men's Suit first cropped in England. The idea was spreading slowly during the 12th and 14th century in Europe. Since its inception the feature of the eminence of its material was always stressed right since its inception. Hence we know that an ideal Men’s Suit is never introduced, without a good quality of fabric. The ancient genre stated that clothing was only meant to cover the body, but soon style and accentuating, the physique came alongside.
Although Suit is an English word the name is obtained from French word Suivre.
Suits were designed by tailors or craftsman, with the help of the material, given by the customer himselves at the time when it was introduced in traditional form. Such cloth was known as bespoke. Therefore these suits were made with preciseness and it fits to the body with accurate cuts and measures.
Soon with the onfall of 19th century, Men’s Suit had taken a modern shape, where different styles were introduced in the Suits.

- And two-piece suit
Three-piece suit which is now worn extensively in the upscale society was first introduced in, 17th century and was then moved on, with great innovation and style in the 18th century. By then it had started gaining momentum on a fast pace, like never before.
The innovations of sewing and tailoring had started as the genre which introduced Men’s Suit moved forward. The Suits were designed keeping the comfort and the style as the focal point in designing the Men’s Suit.
Men’s Suits in the ancient times were better known as:
- Coat
- Waistcoat
- Breeches
Men’s Suits was recognized as the most elegant Men’s wear since its beginning.
